If you’re a die-hard foodie thirsting for your next epicurean adventure, you’ll want to take note of the following event:
Outstanding in the Field, the traveling culinary experience, sits diners down at a gargantuan table in the middle of a field for a multi-course meal designed to reconnect palates with the pastoral origins of food.
“Our mission is to reconnect diners to the land and the origins of their food, and to honor the local farmers and food artisans who cultivate it.”
Beginning in 1999, Outstanding in the Field has hosted dinners on farms, in gardens and orchards, even on the tops of mountains.
On January 19, these creative gourmands will host a dinner at Lake Meadow Naturals, an egg farm in Ocoee with a client list that includes all of Orlando’s best restaurants and hotels.
The guest chef for the evening will be Tony Adams of Big Wheel Provisions… yep, caterer and food truck pioneer.
Tickets are $190 (and will sell out FAST) for what will most certainly be one of your most memorable meals.

They certainly named it well. When I saw the title I just thought of chefs that were outstanding in the field. However, the guests really will be out in the field. Lol
It's an interesting concept and one that should pull a large number of foodies.
If I were int he area and my budget would allow, I would certainly make sure that I got hold of a ticket. There's nothing like fresh food, whether it's vegetables, nuts or animal produce.
